Deleting your account

You can start this yourself, inside the app. Open Account, scroll to Delete your account, and follow it through. There is no form to fill in and nobody to email.

What is removed

Everything stored under the account: every traveller, including any children added to it, every country marked, the dates and notes attached to them, any places added by hand, and the sign-in record itself. The country list, the map outlines and the flags are not yours and are not touched, since they ship with the app and are the same for everyone.

When

30 days after you ask. The account keeps working during that time, and signing in and pressing Keep my account stops it. Once the 30 days have passed the deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed by anyone.

If you have never signed in

Then there is no account and nothing has ever left your device. Your collection is stored on the phone or computer you entered it on. Removing the app, or using Sign out and remove, clears it, and there is no copy anywhere else to delete.

Taking your collection with you

The app can save your whole collection as a file before you delete anything, and that file restores into a new account later. The option appears in the deletion flow, and also under Your data on the collection screen.
